Hector L. Delgado

Hector L. Delgado is a Professor of Sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of La Verne, with joint appointments in Sociology and Anthropology and Gender and Sexuality Studies. He chairs the Coalition for Diversity and participated in establishing the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program.

His research examines intersections of gender, race, and class, with particular focus on men and masculinities. Dr. Delgado authored New Immigrants, Old Unions: Organizing Undocumented Workers in Los Angeles and teaches courses on men and masculinities within the WGSS program.
