Hector Amaya

Hector Amaya is a Professor of Communication and American Studies and Ethnicity at the University of Southern California, serving as Director of the Annenberg School of Communication. His research focuses on transnationalism, Latinx Studies, immigration, media representation, and citizenship. He has authored three books and numerous articles analyzing globalization, Latin American media, immigration narratives, and settler colonialism.
