Heather Pavletic is an Associate Professor at Ferris State University, serving as the Integrative Studies AA and English Major Coordinator. She holds a PhD in English (Rhetoric and Composition) from Auburn University, an MA in English (British Literature) from Marquette University, and a BA in English from University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
Her research focuses on educational strategies to enhance student success and accountability systems for at-risk students. Recent collaborative work includes studies on transformative instruction methods and the C4 program framework for promoting student achievement through structured accountability.
Pavletic regularly presents at national conferences including the American Association of State Colleges and Universities and Teaching Academic Survival Skills conferences. Her collaborations focus on scalable co-requisite cohorts and pedagogical approaches to increase success in developmental reading, writing, and mathematics.
