Heather Moore

Dr. Heather Moore is an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Advisor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Western Washington University. She specializes in caregiver-implemented naturalistic communication interventions and early intervention personnel preparation. With over 20 years of experience, her work focuses on family-centered, culturally sensitive practices for children with disabilities and their families, particularly within Latinx and bilingual communities. She teaches courses such as Clinical Processes, Speech-Sound Disorders, and Evidence-Based Practices in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
