Dr. Heather Marie Gibson is an Associate Professor at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, affiliated with the Department of Oncology and the Karmanos Cancer Institute. She holds a PhD in Immunology from Wayne State University (2011) and a BS in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from Michigan State University (2004). Dr. Gibson's research focuses on tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy, particularly examining genetic regulation of immune responses, development of immunotherapeutic strategies, and modulation of tumor microenvironment components like T cells and macrophages.
