Heather M. Hall is an Associate Professor at the University of Waterloo, specializing in innovation and economic development in rural and northern regions. Her research focuses on the impacts of new technologies in mining and agriculture, community effects of industrial projects, and policy frameworks for sustainable development in Northern Canada, Sweden, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
