Heather Harrington

Heather Harrington is a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Oxford and Co-Director of the Centre for Topological Data Analysis. She is affiliated with St John’s College, Oxford, and the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics.

Research Focus:

• Reconciling models and data through computational algebraic geometry and topology
• Studying complex biological systems using topological methods

Academic Engagements:

• Participated in workshops at MPI MIS Leipzig (2018, 2022)
• Active contributor to interdisciplinary research linking mathematics and biology
