Heather Dennis

Heather Dennis is an Associate Professor in the Graduate Nursing program at the College of Health Professions, Pace University. She is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Registered Nurse with over 20 years of clinical experience, integrating her expertise into teaching and mentorship.

Professor Dennis is an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), reflecting her commitment to professional development and psychiatric nursing excellence.

She teaches a range of advanced practice courses including Diagnoses and Therapeutic Management in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing (NURS 630, 631, 695) and corresponding practicum courses (NURS 630A, 631A, 695A), as well as Advanced Physical Assessment Across the Lifespan (NURS 640). Her mentorship emphasizes empathy, clinical excellence, and student success in nursing.
