Heather Christofk is a Professor in the Department of Biological Chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine. Her research focuses on the metabolic regulation of stem cells, tumorigenesis, and disease states. She holds a BS in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UCLA and a PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology from Harvard University.

- Nutrient regulation in cancer progression
- Warburg effect and tumor metabolism
- Stem cell metabolic reprogramming
