Heath Spencer is a Teaching Professor of History at Seattle University, where he has taught since 2002. His expertise spans German History, European History, Holocaust studies, Genocide Studies, and Migration Studies. He holds a faculty position in the Department of History within the College of Arts & Sciences, located on the First Hill campus. Spencer's research and teaching focus on modern Europe, modern Germany, and social and religious history, often linking historical events to contemporary issues like nationalism, economic inequality, and migration.
