Prof. Dr. Haydar ARAS is a Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Eskisehir Osmangazi University (ESOGU). He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from ESOGU (1991–1996), with earlier degrees from Anadolu University. His research focuses on energy systems, renewable energy, thermodynamics, and exergy analysis, with over 60 publications in SCI-indexed journals. He has led projects on trigeneration systems, solar/wind energy potential, and insulation optimization. Current roles include Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Senate member at ESOGU. His work emphasizes energy efficiency, environmental impact, and sustainable technologies.
