Hatzopoulos Peter

Hatzopoulos Peter is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Insurance Science at the University of Piraeus since December 2023. Previously, he held academic positions at the University of the Aegean from 2001, including Associate Professor (2020–2023), Assistant Professor (2013–2020), and Lecturer roles. His expertise spans actuarial science, stochastic modeling, and mortality forecasting. He earned his PhD from The City University of London (1997), focusing on mortality trends and generalized linear models.
