His research explores the relationship between constructive know-how and semiotic restitution of meaning in architectural interventions, emphasizing abductive reasoning and its digital representation. His thesis, Abduction in architectural design: a hypostatic semiosis, formalizes a semiotic model for architectural design processes through hypostatic dualization, addressing uncertainty in design problem-solving. He contributes to projects like “The architect-builder”: Victor Bourgeau and his era and serves on the Scientific Council of the City of Saguenay on urban heritage and sustainable land use planning.
