Hashem Shaltoni

Hashem Shaltoni is Associate Professor of Neurology at UTMB, serving as Director of the Stroke Program and Neuro-Interventional Services. His clinical and research focus centers on advanced stroke interventions and endovascular techniques. Dr. Shaltoni has contributed significantly to multicenter research on thrombectomy devices and acute stroke management protocols.

Honors include:

• Top ten Teaching Physician at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center (2016)
• Excellence in Teaching from UT-Houston Medical School (2003)
• AAN Award for best teaching resident (2003)
