Hashem Morvarid

Hashem Morvarid is a Miller Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at Johns Hopkins University. He holds a PhD from the University of Illinois Chicago and specializes in bridging classical Islamic philosophy (particularly Avicenna) with contemporary analytic metaphysics. His research explores cross-cultural philosophical dialogues through Templeton-funded projects.

Dr. Morvarid's work investigates metaphysical frameworks in religious contexts and intercultural epistemology. He has published in Philosophical Studies, Synthese, the British Journal for the History of Philosophy, and Religious Studies.
