Dr. Haseeb Irfanullah is a visiting research fellow at the Center for Sustainable Development of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), where he focuses on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for climate change and sustainable development. He collaborates with institutions like the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD) and the Nature-based Solutions Initiative at the University of Oxford, contributing to evidence-based policy for conservation and resilience-building.

Recent publications like "Contributions of Nature-Based Solutions to Reducing Peoples’ Vulnerabilities" (2022) and "Uptake of solar energy by industries in Bangladesh" (2025) highlight his work in climate-resilient interventions and renewable energy policy. Earlier studies on floating gardening and algal taxonomy reflect his transition from pure ecology to applied development research.
At ULAB, he leads the Oxford Martin Programme on Biodiversity and Society project, collaborating with teams in Oxford and Peru to develop methodologies for NbS economic recovery analysis. His career includes leadership roles at IUCN, Practical Action, and Tetra Tech ARD, with a focus on strategic direction, policy influence, and research system improvement.
