Hasan KARADAĞ is an Associate Professor at Adiyaman University's Department of Chemistry within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on enzyme kinetics, purification, and pesticide/nanoparticle toxicity. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from Çukurova University and has been a faculty member since 2007, advancing to Associate Professor in 2020.
Education: BS in Chemistry Education (Dicle University, 1993–1997), MS in Chemistry (Çukurova University, 1997–2001), PhD in Chemistry (Çukurova University, 2001–2007).
Research interests include enzyme inhibition mechanisms, pesticide effects on antioxidant enzymes, and nanoparticle interactions with biomolecules. His recent work explores titanium dioxide and zinc oxide nanoparticles' impact on yeast enzyme activities. He has supervised six master's theses and contributed to over 30 peer-reviewed articles, earning multiple TÜBİTAK awards for publications.
Awards include the Republic Gold Medal (2010) and TÜBİTAK incentives (2010–2017). He coordinates Farabi and Erasmus programs, leads the Biochemistry Department, and serves on Adiyaman University's Scientific Research Commission.
