Harun Tüysüz

PD Dr. Harun Tüysüz is a Research Professor and Group Leader of the Department of Heterogeneous Catalysis at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung (Coal Research Institute). He leads Project C1 in the Collaborative Research Centre CRC/TRR247, focusing on catalytic synthesis of transition metal oxides. His academic career includes a PhD from Ruhr University Bochum (2008) under Prof. F. Schüth and a habilitation in Inorganic Chemistry (2016). His research spans catalysis, energy materials, and nanotechnology, with notable contributions to water oxidation catalysts and perovskite materials.
