Harry Ewan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Core Studies at St. John's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, St. John's University. He teaches First Year Writing courses, including the thematic course "Language and Power in and out of the Academy," emphasizing rhetorical, research-based, and ethnographic writing practices.

Recent publications include the screenplay A Christmas Karl (2022 TITAN International Screenwriting Competition winner for Drama/Sci Fi and Pearl Award for Diversity) and literary excerpts like Smoke and Shadows (The Opiate, 2017). He is currently developing an article on LGBTQ+ pedagogy in Catholic university settings.
