Dr. Harriette Van Spall is an Associate Professor of Medicine at McMaster University, Canada, and serves as the Director of Implementation Science at the Baim Institute for Clinical Research. She is a cardiologist and clinical trialist with expertise in heart failure, data science, and implementation science, leading both investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored trials.
Her research focuses on advancing cardiovascular medicine through clinical trials, leveraging data science for healthcare solutions, and implementing evidence-based practices in real-world settings. She has contributed to high-impact publications in journals such as JAMA, Lancet, and Circulation.
Dr. Van Spall has received prestigious awards, including:
