Harriet Narwal is a Research Fellow at Macquarie University's School of Communication, Society and Culture. She holds a Postdoctoral position on the ARC linkage project The Power of Public Spaces to Connect Communities & Places for Resilient Futures, and contributes to the MD-WERP project Winanga-li Gunimaa Gali: Incorporating Cultural Values into Environmental Flows. Her research focuses on environmental planning, biocultural belonging, and Indigenous-led approaches to multispecies urban spaces.
