Dr. Harriëtte Riese is an Associate Professor at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Medical Sciences, affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Centre Psychopathology and Emotion regulation (ICPE). She directs the iLab group, focusing on bridging scientific research and clinical practice through personalized digital tools like the Experience Sampling Method (ESM). Her work emphasizes ambulatory psychological monitoring, mental health interventions, and translational research.
- Education: MSc in Experimental Psychology (University of Groningen, 1994), PhD in Biological Psychology (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, 2000)

Research interests include mood disorders, ambulatory assessment, and psychophysiological mechanisms.
