Robert Schoevers is a Professor of Psychiatry and Head of the Department of Psychiatry at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) within the Faculty of Medical Sciences. With a background in epidemiology and clinical psychiatry, he leads research initiatives focused on mood and anxiety disorders, particularly depression, integrating neurobiological and psychological mechanisms.
