Harold Hemond

Harold F. Hemond, the William E. Leonhard Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), leads the Hemond Lab focusing on biogeochemical cycles, methane cycling, trace metal dynamics, and in-situ environmental sensing systems. His work bridges environmental chemistry with sustainable technology, supported by grants from NSF, MIT Sea Grant, and EPA.
