Harald Prockl

Harald Prockl is a Lecturer in Accordion and Improvisation at the Tyrolean State Conservatory, Innsbruck, within the School of Music & Art Education. Born in 1963, he studied accordion at Trossingen Conservatory and furthered his training with renowned artists like Ivan Koval and Vinko Globokar. Since 1990, he has been pivotal in establishing accordion studies at the conservatory and teaches across Tyrolean music schools. He leads the TENM ensemble (Tiroler Ensemble für Neue Musik) since 2007, focusing on contemporary music performances and premieres. His work spans classical, contemporary, and interdisciplinary projects, blending music with theater, dance, and visual art.
