Dr. Hao Feng is an Associate Professor at the Department of Biostatistics & Data Science, UTHealth School of Public Health. He earned his B.S. in biosciences from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and his Ph.D. in biostatistics from Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health. Prior to UTHealth, he served as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in biostatistics at Case Western Reserve University's School of Medicine.
Dr. Feng's research focuses on developing statistical methodologies for analyzing complex -omics data, with applications in neurodegenerative diseases, neurological disorders, and cancer research. His work bridges biostatistics, bioinformatics, and computational biology to create practical tools for high-throughput data analysis. He is a Principal Investigator (PI) for the NIH/NIGMS Maximizing Investigators’ Research Award (MIRA).
