Hansjürgen Paul

Dr. Hansjürgen Paul is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Westfälische Hochschule Gelsenkirchen-Bocholt-Recklinghausen. He is also a research associate at the Institute for Work and Technology (IAT) in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, where he focuses on interactive computer systems and human-computer interaction.

Education:

• Degree in Computer Science from TU Dortmund University (1989)
• Doctorate in Engineering from the University of Bremen (1994) with a thesis on ergonomic human-computer interaction design

Research Interests center on the development and implementation of interactive computer systems in organizations, computer-mediated cooperation, and educational technologies. His work spans sociotechnical modeling, virtual museums, and IT security applications in structural change contexts.
