Hans Albin Gritsch, MD is a Health Sciences Clinical Professor of Urology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), holding the John Jergens Chair in Kidney Transplantation. As Surgical Director of the Kidney Transplant Program at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, he oversees one of the nation's top five transplant programs by volume, renowned for maintaining excellent 3-year graft survival rates for over 25 years per the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR), and operates the largest living donor exchange program in the United States.

His work integrates surgical innovation with long-term patient outcomes in high-volume transplant settings.
