معرفی
Univ.-Prof. Hannes Pichler leads the Pichler Group - Quantum Science Theory at the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (IQOQI), University of Innsbruck. His research focuses on quantum information theory, many-body quantum systems, and quantum simulation, with an emphasis on optimizing quantum trajectory methods to reduce computational costs. He actively supervises multiple PhD and Master’s students, including Lisa Bombieri, Gabriele Calliari, and Tatiana Vovk.
His work explores entanglement dynamics in open quantum systems, leveraging matrix product states and adaptive trajectory unravelings. Recent contributions include studies on entanglement phase transitions in Markovian processes and efficient simulations of quantum field theories using large-spin lattice models.
- Key Projects: Quantum trajectory unraveling, stochastic propagator optimization, and continuum field theory simulations
- Group Members: PhD/Master students (10+), postdocs, and technical staff
Publications highlight innovative approaches to minimizing entanglement in many-body systems and simulating dynamics with reduced computational resources. The group collaborates on cutting-edge quantum technologies and theoretical frameworks for non-equilibrium quantum phenomena.
