Hannes Grandits

Prof. Dr. Hannes Grandits is a faculty member at the Humboldt University of Berlin, affiliated with the Institute of History and specializing in Southeast European History. His research focuses on the historical dynamics of the Balkans and Southeastern Europe during the 19th and 20th centuries, with particular emphasis on themes like phantom borders in East Central Europe and the representations of socialist Yugoslavia during transitional periods.
