Hannah Whitby

Dr. Hannah Whitby is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Earth, Ocean and Ecological Sciences at the University of Liverpool, specializing in the cycling of metals in aquatic environments. Her interdisciplinary research spans marine and terrestrial systems, focusing on metal-organic interactions that influence ecosystem health and water quality.

• Education: BSc (2008-2012) and PhD (2012-2016) from the University of Liverpool.
• Research Focus: Development of novel electrochemical methods (voltammetry) for metal speciation analysis, particularly iron and copper in seawater.
