Hannah Taino-Spick is a Lecturer in Social Work at Charles Darwin University's Faculty of Health and a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Arts and Society. Her research focuses on veterans' transition experiences, therapy dog applications in social work, and youth justice systems. She is a ministerially-appointed member of the NT Government's Veterans Advisory Group and contributed to the Defence and Veterans' Family Strategy.
- Education: PhD (HDR) candidate in Social Work at Charles Darwin University
- Prior Military Experience: Royal Australian Air Force Logistics Officer (2008–2015)
Her work addresses mental health, child protection, and disability services through innovative practice programs. She leads projects on therapy dogs for military veterans and youth justice contexts.

- ANZAC Narrative Project (HDR Project): Examining how historical narratives impact contemporary veterans (2017–present)
Key Honors: 2022 NT Social Worker of the Year Award. Professional Activities include invited talks on 'Military Mindset' (2023) and advisory roles in national suicide prevention initiatives.
