Dr. Hannah Stark is an Associate Professor and Head of English and Writing at the University of Tasmania's School of Humanities. Her work bridges literary studies, philosophy, and environmental humanities, focusing on themes like extinction, queer theory, and love's political dimensions. She leads the ARC-funded 'Beyond Extinction' project reconstructing the Thylacine archive. A 2018 Vice-Chancellor’s Award winner, she also coordinates researcher development programs.
