Dr. Hannah Hobson is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of York. Her research focuses on language and communication challenges in developmental and acquired conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, developmental language disorder, and stroke survivors. She has a particular interest in how language interacts with emotional processing and the neural systems underlying social cognition. She also advocates for reproducible and ethical research practices in psychology.

Teaching & Service: Leads the Clinical Research Methods module in the Developmental Disorders and Clinical Practice MSc. Actively involved in editorial roles promoting open science.
Collaborations: Works with researchers at City University, University of Bath, and University of Warwick, focusing on developmental and clinical psychology.
