Hannah Herriott serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Rehabilitative & Health Sciences within the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions at Regis University. Her academic role centers on medical education, integrating a passion for student development with holistic approaches to healthcare improvement through professional education.
Her research focuses on advancing health professions education through anatomy and neuroscience pedagogy, with emphasis on interprofessional education, communication strategies, teamwork dynamics, near-peer mentorship models, and culturally inclusive teaching practices. Guided by the Jesuit principle of magis, she pursues excellence in educational scholarship to enhance healthcare outcomes.
Hannah prioritizes student growth as the cornerstone of her teaching philosophy, inspired by Saint Thérèse de Lisieux's principle that meaningful contributions require love: “Without love, deeds, even the most brilliant, count as nothing.” This ethos permeates her academic, service, and research roles within Regis University and the broader community.
