Hannah Durrington is an MRC-funded Clinician Scientist and Clinical Fellow at the University of Manchester's Division of Immunology, Immunity to Infection and Respiratory Medicine. She holds honorary consultant roles at Wythenshawe Hospital and University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust, providing weekly asthma clinics. As Deputy Chair of the NIHR Respiratory Translational Research Collaboration and PPIE Lead for Manchester-BRC, she bridges clinical and academic respiratory medicine.

Notable grants include the MRC Tenure Track Fellowship (2021) and Asthma UK Senior Award (2014). She has supervised 3 doctoral projects and contributed to 54+ publications. Active in professional societies (British Thoracic Society, European Respiratory Society), she advises on translational research strategies and chairs global asthma forums.
