Hannah De Mulder

Hannah De Mulder is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Linguistics, Leiden University. Her research focuses on bilingualism and cognition, experimental linguistics, first language acquisition, multilingualism, psycholinguistics, and social cognition.

Research Interests: Her work explores how children develop communicative competence, particularly in understanding mental state terms (MST) and indirect requests (IR). She investigates the role of linguistic ability (vocabulary, syntax, spatial language) and Theory of Mind (ToM) in this developmental process.
