Overview
Professor Hanna Zagefka is Head of the Department of Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London, and part of the Institute for the Study of Power, Crime, and Society. Her academic rank is Professor in Social and Affective Processes.
Research Focus
Her research focuses on intergroup relations, social identity, acculturation, prejudice, and behavior change related to intergroup helping. Key areas include understanding donation behavior during humanitarian disasters, multiculturalism perceptions, and group identity effects. She has co-edited the book Intergroup Helping (Springer) and contributed to high-impact journals.
