Hanna Meyer

Hanna Meyer is a Researcher and doctoral candidate at the University of Bonn's Chair of Civil Law, Data Economy Law, Data Protection, Digitalization, and Artificial Intelligence. She completed her law studies at Kiel University (First State Examination May 2021) and legal traineeship in Hesse, specializing in IT law and data protection. Her professional experience includes work as a trainee lawyer at FPS Partnerschaft in Frankfurt, focusing on data protection law, copyright law, IT contracts, and cybersecurity. Currently pursuing a doctorate in artificial intelligence, she contributes to interdisciplinary legal research at the intersection of technology and law. She co-authored a notable publication on GDPR terminology interpretation (2023, ITRB).

Her affiliations include the Research Center for Legal Issues of New Technologies and Data Law (ForTech) e.V. and the Center for Medical Data Usability. She is part of the third-party funded projects team and scientific staff at her department. Previous roles include involvement with the Secretariat and research/student assistant roles.
