Hanna Kulenty (born March 18, 1961 in Białystok) is a Polish composer and Professor at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She studied composition under Włodzimierz Kotoński at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw (1980-1986) and with Louis Andriessen at the Royal Conservatory of Music in The Hague (1986-1988). Since 1989, she has worked as a freelance composer, fulfilling numerous commissions and benefiting from creative scholarships, while also lecturing at various music institutions worldwide.

Her accolades include the Mozart Medal from UNESCO (2003), First Place at the 50th UNESCO International Rostrum of Composers (2003), and multiple awards from the Polish Composers' Union for works such as 'Quinto' (1986) and 'Breathe' (1987). She also received the Stanisław Wyspiański Youth Artistic Award (1987).
