Hanna Israelsson Larsen is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Linköping University, affiliated with the Department of Health, Medicine and Caring Sciences (HMV) and the Division of Prevention, Rehabilitation and Community Medicine (PRNV). As a general practitioner, her research focuses on improving care for patients with mental illness, biopsychosocial disorders, and common diseases in primary care.

Research Interests
Her work spans Neurology, Geriatrics, Public Health, and Primary Care. Recent studies include:
- Population-based analyses of gait disorders and mental health during the pandemic
- Implementation of behavioral health interventions in Swedish primary care
- 10-year mortality and comorbidities in idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus
Teaching includes medical communication, cardiology, and scientific project work (K8) on the 360-hp medical program.
