Hangfei Guo is a Senior Lecturer in Supply Chain Management at Queen's Business School, Queen's University Belfast. She holds a Ph.D. in Business (Management Science) from McMaster University (Canada) and an MPhil in Business from Lingnan University (Hong Kong). As Principal Investigator of the ReImagining the Supply Chains Network Plus (RiSC+), she leads a £6.25m UKRI-funded initiative to enhance supply chain resilience in food, critical minerals, and fashion sectors. Her research bridges mathematical models and practical applications, focusing on supply chain simulation, risk management, and contract design. She teaches the MGT7193 Operations Management module and has completed an Innovate UK-funded project integrating simulation and big data analytics for supply chain optimization.
Her research interests include operational research, data-driven decision-making, and sustainable supply chain practices. Recent work addresses digital transformation's role in environmental disclosures and policy responses in automotive industries. She has secured grants including the Newton Fund and Ontario Graduate Scholarship, and her contributions span 23+ publications across journals like *Business Strategy and the Environment* and *International Journal of Production Economics*.
Guo actively participates in international conferences and workshops, including the UKRI Building a Green Future Congress and DAFNI Roadshow. She supervises PhD projects in supply chain simulation, risk management, and game theory-based contract design.
