Hang Zhang is an Academy Research Fellow at Aalto University's Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems, leading research on adaptive materials and soft robotics. Their work focuses on hydrogel engineering, self-healing materials, and bio-inspired systems. Zhang holds a Doctoral degree in Natural Sciences from RWTH Aachen University (2017).
