Hanafiah Harvey is an Associate Professor in the Business program at Penn State Mont Alto. He holds a Ph.D. in International Economics from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and teaches microeconomics and macroeconomics courses.
His research examines international trade dynamics, particularly asymmetric J-curve effects in bilateral trade balances between countries. Professor Harvey has published extensively on exchange rate impacts on trade patterns across multiple economies including Indonesia, Tunisia, Malaysia, and the United States.
