معرفی
Han Li is an Assistant Professor of Biology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on urban ecology, particularly the behavior, distribution, and conservation of bat species in human-altered environments. Dr. Li investigates how urbanization, artificial light pollution, and constructed wetlands influence bat activity patterns, foraging strategies, and habitat selection.
Education:
- PhD in Biology, Baylor University (2014)
- Bachelor of Science in Life Science, Peking University (2007)
Research Interests:
- Urban Wildlife Ecology
- Bat Conservation Biology
- Light Pollution Effects on Nocturnal Fauna

Professional Service:
- Editor for Urban Ecosystems and Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution (2022)
- Member of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Master Thesis Committee (2022–present)
- NGPC Education Guest Speaker (2022–present)
His work emphasizes the interplay between urban development and ecological preservation, with a particular focus on bat species' adaptability to anthropogenic environments. Recent studies address bat responses to light pollution, constructed wetlands, and seasonal habitat preferences.
