Hamid Salehi

Dr. Hamid Salehi is a Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering and Programme Leader for the discipline at the University of Greenwich. He joined the university in April 2018 as a Research Fellow with the Wolfson Centre, following a Research Associate role at the Biomass Technology Centre (BTC) of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.

• PhD: University of Salerno (research on powder flow properties under low consolidation)

His research is focused on advancing particulate material handling, additive manufacturing techniques, air quality monitoring, and sustainable practices in the paper and pulp industries. With over 30 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, his work bridges fundamental and applied chemical engineering challenges.

Dr. Salehi is affiliated with the School of Engineering and the Faculty of Engineering and Science at the University of Greenwich. His prior roles include a Research Associate position at the Biomass Technology Centre (BTC) of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
