Hamed Samandari

Dr. Hamed Samandari is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (UMassD), part of the College of Engineering. He holds a PhD from Middle East Technical University in Turkey, an MS from University of Tabriz, and a BS from Isfahan University of Technology. His teaching focuses on courses like Engineering Economics, Statics & Dynamics, and Mechanical Engineering Design Projects.

His research expertise spans Computational Mechanics, Nonlinear Vibrations, and Biomedical Device Development, with notable projects funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and Office of Naval Research (ONR).
