معرفی
Dr. Hamed Abdeyazdan is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Chemical Engineering, University of Queensland. His research focuses on high-temperature phase equilibria and thermodynamic modeling in metallurgical systems, particularly involving copper, lead, and zinc processing. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology.
Research Interests: His work addresses refractory-slag interactions, gas–slag–matte equilibria, and industrial metallurgy, with emphasis on optimizing copper smelting and secondary processing of complex systems like Pb-Fe-O-S-Si-(Al, Ca, Zn).
Publication Trends: Recent studies span multicomponent oxide systems (NiO-ZnO-SiO2, PbO-ZnO-FeO-SiO2), thermodynamic modeling of slag-matte-metal equilibria, and refractory interactions under variable temperature and gas compositions.
Supervision: He serves as principal advisor for a PhD project on copper electric slag cleaning furnace optimization and associate advisor for a Master’s thesis on Ca-Fe-Cu-Mg-Si-As-S-O slag/metal/gas systems.
