Halmschlager, Erhard

Dr. Erhard Halmschlager is an Associate Professor at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU), specializing in Forest Entomology, Forest Pathology, and Forest Protection. He holds teaching authorization in Forest Pathology and Forest Protection, contributing to academic programs and research in forest health sciences.

His research focuses on understanding and managing pest infestations, disease dynamics in forest ecosystems, and integrated protection strategies for sustainable forestry. Current work emphasizes ecological interactions between forest insects and pathogens, as well as climate change impacts on forest health.
