Prof. Halil Altay GÖDE is a faculty member in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, specializing in Turkish Folk Literature. His research focuses on Anatolian folk narratives, motifs in fairy tales and legends, and the cultural legacy of figures like Ashik Gamgüder. He has published extensively on topics including culinary traditions, folklore symbolism, and ritual practices.
